We're a small brand, but 2019 was a big year for us.
We introduced an array of new styles that doubled down on our commitment to sustainable design practices, including the modern/timeless Terra Jacket (created from U.S. grown & milled organic cotton herringbone) and the Scoundrel Jacket (cut from Pinatex, a revolutionary plant-based alternative to leather.)
We also expanded our event slate, hosting our first Pop-Up Shop, treating our subscribers to a Refresh/Recharge day, and sharing our work process at the historic 1888 Center. Throughout the year, we were honored to see so many Heroines wearing DeLaunay in support of our sustainable design mission, including U.S. Representative Katie Porter and Texas attorney Gabriela Garcia when she launched her judicial campaign.
As 2020 gets into full swing, we as a planet are watching in horror as dozens of people and millions of animals have died in Australia's massive bushfires. This is just the latest in a series of climate disasters coming at us with alarming frequency and magnitude.
Because of you---our supporters and clients--we're able to keep doing what we can to reduce Fashion's landfill waste and toxic chemical use. We have some modest but meaningful plans for 2020. Stay tuned, and thank you for all that you're doing to protect People, Animals and Planet.
